About the Location
Kastelorizo or Megisti is part of the Dodecanese region and is the traditional Greek island and not so crowded from tourists. If you visit the island in high season is very difficult to find place for mooring.
Mooring
The best place is to move inside the port and drop your anchor (See our map). Beware do not go close to the pier because there are underwater rocks. If you don’t find place the other option is to go to the ferry pier but you have to leave in case that the ferry comes. The last option is to anchorage and use your tender.
Water & Shore power
There are not facilities for water and electricity but if you are close to a restaurant, they will give you.
Fuel
If you want to refuel, you must go to the ferry place and call the gas station which is the only option in the island.

If you are coming from Turkey, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel etc. generally from non Schengen zone, the first thing to do is to visit the passport control or the port authorities.
